  • The pool may be closed at Board members’ discretion due to weather conditions or other circumstances.

If the pool is closed for the first part of the day due to weather, it may reopen if weather clears for the last part of the day and vice versa.

GENERAL HEALTH AND SAFETY:
All bathers MUST take a soap shower before entering the pool. THIS RULE IS A STATE LAW AND MUST BE ENFORCED.

All bathers MUST shower before returning to the pool after using suntan lotions, creams, or oils, because these items clog the water filters.

General hygiene must be followed when going swimming. It is up to the discretion of the lifeguard if he/she thinks someone should not be in the pool.

A person with a bleeding cut; bandage or a possible infectious condition, such as a virus, skin eruption, open blister or inflamed eyes must be excluded from the pool.

Infants and toddlers MUST wear swim diapers while they are at the pool. Toddlers are not allowed in the main pool unless they are potty trained.

In the instance of fecal contamination or vomit, we must meet the requirements established by the State Health Department. Members are asked to remain out of the water and the pool will be closed. The contamination is removed and the pool is swept and vacuumed. The pool is then shocked with chlorine. All toys and lane markers are cleaned with a bleach solution. After a safe time the pool is reopened.

Users are participating at your own risk. Users are responsible for their own health, dental and vision insurance.
